Our Second ‘Back to School Party’ Brought out many in the Community

We put on our second ‘BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY’ on August 1.   It was a real success and many from the immigrant, refugee community came out to have food made by refugees themselves from the following nations:   Burundi,  Somalia,  Syria,  Bhutan/Nepal, and Afghanistan.     Migros provided other pasta and meat dishes for the children.

There were many new faces that showed up.  Adults in the community signed up for driving classes and English practice with Migros Mentors.

Students were able to hear about and sign up for C.A.R.E. Club.      Thanks to all the volunteers that came out.
